Senior Student Program Specialist for Graduate Students

Pay Range: Targeted salary of $18.27 per hour, depending on education and experience. Benefits Eligible: Yes Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may include some weekends) Travel: May be required Position Introduction The position is the primary contact for graduate student processes in the School of Civil Engineering and Environmental Science. This includes administrative needs for admissions, enrollment, course scheduling, advising, assessment, and student records. Assists with processing graduate program modifications. Duties Reviews graduate student applications Maintains graduate student database containing student progress, letters of recommendation, transcripts as needed Assists students by providing information pertaining to lectures, exams, financial aid, etc. Collaborates with Student Services in matters concerning grades, transcripts, and student status. Schedules Graduate Student Services Committee meetings and provides minutes Serves on Graduate Studies Committee Assists with course and program modifications related to online programs Prepares and maintains graduate program course schedules Assists with graduate program assessment Assists with payroll administration for graduate program instructors and TAs Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience High School diploma or GED. 12 months of office/clerical experience. Required Certifications And Licenses None Department Preferences B.S. degree Familiarity with university systems (ONE, Course Leaf, DegreeNavigator, Canvas, Slate) Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build and manipulate spreadsheets.
