WELLNESS ADVISOR – CONSISTENT DAYTIME & WEEKEND AVAILABILITY REQUIRED
Job Title: Wellness Advisor – Sales & Member Experience
Reports to: General Manager
Location: YogaSix South Hills | The Galleria of Mt. Lebanon
Hours: Approximately 25+ hours per week
Compensation: $14/hour + commission + performance bonus opportunities

YogaSix South Hills is looking for an outgoing, dependable and community-minded Wellness Advisor to join our team in a consistent daytime role.
Unlike our more flexible Wellness Advisor positions, this opportunity offers a predictable schedule , making it a great fit for someone looking for steady weekly hours while becoming an integral part of our studio community.
Our Wellness Advisors are often the first face someone sees when they walk through our doors. You'll help prospective members discover YogaSix, support our current members, build relationships within our community and help create the welcoming, energetic experience our studio is known for.
If you enjoy connecting with people, are comfortable with sales and goal-setting, and love being part of a health and wellness environment, we would love to meet you.

YOUR CONSISTENT SCHEDULE
This position is specifically being hired for the following recurring weekly schedule:
Sunday afternoons
Thursday afternoons
Fridays evenings
Candidates should be able to commit to this schedule consistently and on an ongoing basis.
Occasional availability for studio events, team trainings or special community events outside of these hours may be requested with advance notice.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Wellness Advisor, you'll play an important role in both growing our studio and taking care of the community we already have.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating a warm, welcoming experience for every person who enters the studio
• Connecting with prospective members through phone, text, email and in-person conversations
• Following up with new leads and helping them schedule their first YogaSix experience
• Conducting studio tours and introducing prospects to our classes, memberships and community
• Helping prospective members select membership options that best fit their goals
• Working toward individual and studio membership sales goals
• Supporting member retention by building relationships and providing exceptional service
• Assisting members with class selections, account questions and membership needs
• Processing retail merchandise and membership purchases
• Developing a strong understanding of YogaSix classes, programs, pricing and promotions
• Participating in grassroots marketing and community outreach opportunities
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, safe and inviting studio environment
• Supporting the General Manager with daily studio operations and special projects
• Performing other studio responsibilities as needed

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You should bring:

• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence speaking with prospective customers in person, by phone, text and email
• A positive, upbeat and professional presence
• Comfort working in a sales-focused environment
• Motivation to achieve individual and studio goals
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently while also being an engaged member of a team
• Comfort learning new technology and our ClubReady studio management system
• Proficient computer skills
• Dependability and the ability to maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• An interest in health, fitness, yoga and/or wellness

Experience in fitness, yoga, healthcare, hospitality, retail, sales or customer service is a plus, but your ability to connect with people and contribute positively to our community is most important.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during a shift
• Ability to reach, bend, kneel and move throughout the studio
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to navigate stairs when necessary
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone
• Reliable transportation to the studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Team members are also encouraged to experience the variety of YogaSix classes offered at the studio. Understanding our classes firsthand helps our Wellness Advisors confidently recommend the right experience to members and prospective members.
