Join a dynamic Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team providing exceptional care to patients with conditions such as stroke, heart failure, and respiratory illnesses. This role requires a dedicated RN with strong critical care skills and at least 18 months of PCU experience. Perfect for those comfortable with high-acuity patients and flexible with floating within assigned regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage critical care drips including insulin, nitroglycerin, and amiodarone
• Perform stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Provide care and management for tracheostomies, PIV starts, and chest tube management
• Handle NGT placement and drain/tube management
• Utilize PCA pumps appropriately

Qualifications

Required:

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 18 months of PCU RN experience
• General PCU skillset including stroke experience and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with trach care and management
