Mammography TechnologistLogan Health is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammography Technologist to join our Radiology team in Kalispell. This full-time position offers variable hours and provides an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact through the early detection and prevention of breast cancer. X-ray Technologists with an interest in mammography are encouraged to apply—training will be provided.QualificationsRequired:Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic TechnologyCurrent ARRT certificationValid Montana State Radiologic Technologist licenseBLS certificationCurrent Driver's License required as applicable to assigned area(s)Must possess a good driving record clear of moving violations within the past five (5) years and no major driving offenses (DUI, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiencesExcellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to prioritize and function both independently and as part of a teamPreferred / Required Within Hire Period:Mammography certification preferred or must be successfully obtained within six (6) months of hireMinimum one (1) year experience as a Mammography Technologist preferredBreast Sonography Qualifications (as applicable to role):Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) requiredMinimum one (1) year experience preferred in one or more of the following specialty areas:Quality controlBreast sonographyStereotactic biopsiesJob ResponsibilitiesProperly identify and prepare patients for mammography exams, clearly explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfortObtain and accurately document relevant patient history and exam-related informationPerform mammography imaging and process images for radiologist interpretationComplete all required documentation in accordance with departmental protocolsEnsure patients understand exam results and available options as communicated by the RadiologistPerform daily start-up, end-of-day, and next-day preparation duties per department proceduresMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including stocking and inventory controlAssist with quality assurance activities and preparation for ACR and FDA accreditationParticipate in continuing education and ongoing professional development related to mammographyWhy Choose Logan Health?Meaningful Impact: Play a vital role in the early detection of breast cancerProfessional Growth: Training opportunities and career advancement potentialAdvanced Technology: Work with state-of-the-art mammography equipmentTeam Environment: Join a dedicated and supportive healthcare teamCompetitive Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package for eligible employeesMontana Lifestyle: Live and work in the beautiful Flathead ValleyShift: Variable (United States of America)Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
