Overview Registered Nurse – Float Pool for a travel assignment in Geneva, New York. Start date 06/22/2026 for 14 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,067–$2,224. Shift 3x12 Nights. This is a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. The RN will float across multiple units as needed, including med/surg, ICU, ER, and related inpatient areas. The schedule includes on-call shifts and holidays with every-other weekend rotations. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,067–$2,224 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with holidays, every other weekend rotations, and 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks Location/setting: Geneva, NY; Short Term Acute Care Hospital; float to multiple units (med/surg, ICU, ER) Qualification emphasis: BSN required; cross‑training across units Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for patients across float assignments in med/surg, ICU, ER, and other units as needed Monitor vital signs, administer medications and therapies, and respond to changes in patient status Perform patient assessments, interpret data, and elevate concerns to the care team promptly Document in the electronic medical record, participate in handoffs, and ensure accurate and timely communication Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and deliver safe, effective care; educate patients and families as appropriate Maintain age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients; adhere to safety and infection prevention protocols Requirements Active NYS Registered Professional Nurse license Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (through American Heart Association or RQI) required; NIHSS required CPI certification within 90 days of hire; Basic Coronary Care training within 6 months of hire Experience: minimum 1 year in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Critical Care units Ability to float to ICU/ER/Med/Surg/MST as needed; comfortable with EOW/holiday rotations and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks Demonstrated professionalism, strong communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Benefits and Support 24/7 recruiter and travel support Dedicated support throughout the assignment Fast credentialing process Nationwide travel assignments Extension opportunities where available PAY DISCLAIMER RULE Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
