What Youll Learn & Develop

As a Protege, you will work closely with an experienced Farmers Insurance Agency Mentor and gain exposure to the key areas involved in running a successful agency, including:

Advanced sales strategies and production development

Consultative selling across multiple lines of business

Client relationship management and retention

Marketing, prospecting, and business development

Leadership, team development, and operational support

Goal setting, activity management, and growth planning

• Obtain required insurance licensing and complete onboarding training
• Participate in ongoing training and 1:1 coaching through District 20 and the University of Farmers
• Prospect and generate new business through leads, referrals, and outbound outreach
• Build and maintain strong client relationships using a consultative sales approach
• Present and recommend insurance solutions based on clients needs and risk profiles
• Meet or exceed new business and production goals while maintaining accurate client records in agency systems

• Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life & Health (L&H) licenses preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous sales or insurance industry experience preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated with a competitive, goal-driven mindset
• Coachable and eager to learn through training and mentorship
