Maintenance Technician
The 3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing maintenance on all plant processing, packaging, and distribution equipment. This includes pumps, valves, box formers, conveyors, fillers, ink jet and thermal printers, tapers, palletizers, stackers, wrappers, fork trucks, pallet jacks, and dock levelers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance on plant equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting up to 480V
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment including conveyors, palletizers, and printers
- Ensure automation systems are functioning properly
Essential Skills:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Basic understanding of PLC systems and input/output operations
Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandwich, IL.
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
