Veterinary Technician

Overview CSRAVS is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a fast growing, multi-doctor practice committed to providing high-quality medical care and excellent client service. The ideal candidate will be proficient in a wide range of veterinary technical skills, possess strong communication abilities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assisting veterinarians with examinations, procedures, and surgeries Administering medications and treatments as directed Performing laboratory tests (e.g., blood draws, urinalysis, cytology) Monitoring anesthesia and recovering patients Taking and processing radiographs Providing client education on pet care, medications, and preventive health Maintaining accurate medical records Sterilizing surgical instruments and maintaining equipment Assisting with patient restraint and handling Qualifications Certified/Registered/Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) preferred, or equivalent experience. 3 years of experience in a veterinary setting is a plus Proficiency in veterinary software NEO a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance Paid time off CE allowance Retirement plan for full time employees A supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development #J-18808-Ljbffr Central Savannah River Area Veterinary Services
