\n \nWe are partnering with a leading, private equity-backed company to identify a Senior Accountant to join its expanding accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in public accounting or corporate accounting who enjoys taking ownership of accounting processes, improving efficiencies, and working closely with leadership.
\n \nThe ideal candidate will bring a strong technical accounting foundation, analytical mindset, and interest in joining a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
\n \nWhat You'll Be Doing

- Take ownership of assigned general ledger accounts, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and vendor rebates. \n
- Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules as part of the monthly close process. \n
- Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and prepare reporting for senior management. \n
- Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. \n
- Support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. \n
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance reporting, and improve operational efficiency. \n
- Leverage automation, AI, and emerging technologies to modernize accounting workflows. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. \n
- Experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both. \n
- Strong understanding of GAAP, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls. \n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical capabilities. \n
- Experience with ERP systems and an interest in technology-driven process improvements. \n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. \n
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a growing organization. \n
