Quick Facts Location: Creighton University Medical Center / Bergan Mercy, 7500 Mercy Road, Omaha, NE 68124 Start Date: 06/26/2026 Duration: 60-90 days (with potential for extension) Shift: Unrestricted overnight call and weekend call; 8-10 hour days (Monday - Friday) Hours/week: 40+ Employment Type: Locum / Contract Licensure/Certifications: Must be TEE certified; fellowship in CV anesthesia or equivalent required; Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography testamur or equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 5 years CV anesthesia experience if fellowship-trained; or fellowship in CV anesthesia preferred. Support general OR cases, supervising CRNAs as needed. Assist with intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and perioperative team members. Cover on-call duties, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Maintain and uphold patient safety and best practice standards. What You Need Valid medical license or ability to obtain license in Nebraska Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology, with a CV fellowship preferred TEE certification (required) Minimum of 5 years of CV anesthesia experience or fellowship training with testamur in Advanced Perioperative Echocardiography Strong interpersonal and communication skills About the Assignment This position is at a prominent academic Level 1 Trauma Center in Omaha, offering a mix of complex cardiac and general anesthesia procedures.
