You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Commercial Credit Services Group Manager oversees Commercial Credit Services teams responsible for underwriting business banking and middle market credit requests. This role ensures alignment with risk management objectives by enforcing policies, processes, and tools that promote a consistent and standardized approach to credit underwriting, including accurate risk ratings and oversight of both new and renewal credit approval activities.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelops and manages key performance indicators (KPIs) within the conventional underwriting team for approval documentation quality, credit servicing quality, and credit approval turnaround timeServes as a liaison with Credit Review, Risk Management, and Audit teams to identify and address any weaknesses in the Conventional Underwriting team’s risk management practicesOversees the hiring, development, and ongoing performance of regional team managers and associates supporting underwriting and portfolio management activitiesChampions talent development and training initiatives to ensure Regions maintains a highly skilled workforce and a strong succession pipelineCreates and maintains strong working relationships with key stakeholders including credit officers, client coverage teams, senior leadership, and Human ResourcesEnsures new loans and renewals are underwritten to prudent risk standards and in compliance with the loan policy and the credit risk management policyServes in a leadership position for all risk management initiatives and activities regarding the conventional underwriting teamServes as a coaching resource around client selectivity, loan structuring, underwriting, servicing, and risk ratingServes, periodically, on committees, task forces, and groups as neededLeads credit product support and activity delivery for the conventional underwriting teamThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.This position is incentive eligible.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldFifteen (15) years of banking/credit experience and six (6) years of managerial experienceCompletion of a major corporate credit training program or the equivalent corporate banking/corporate finance experiencePreferencesMaster of Business Administration (MBA) or a related degreeSkills and CompetenciesAbility to lead and coach othersBroad knowledge of credit disciplines and business strategyDemonstrated self-starter with a strong work ethicHigh level of knowledge in accounting and financeExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skillsPosition TypeFull timeCompensation DetailsPay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.Job Range Target:Minimum:$185,859.30 USDMedian:$239,840.00 USDIncentive Pay Plans:This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan.
