About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President - Credit Manager to lead a team of credit analysts and ensure the maintenance of strong credit quality through the analysis and approval of commercial loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring credit analysts, performing in-depth commercial credit analysis including financial statements, cash flow, and collateral evaluation, and applying the Five Cs of Credit in the loan evaluation process. Additionally, the role involves preparing and presenting credit memos, assigning risk ratings, and working closely with loan officers and clients. The Credit Manager will also be tasked with monitoring the loan portfolio's risk and supporting compliance with audits and regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Vice President - Credit Manager position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years' of commercial banking credit analysis experience. Strong financial statement analysis skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential. Leadership experience is preferred, as the role involves leading a team and may require some travel. The ideal candidate will be adept at remote team management and be committed to upholding the highest standards of credit quality and risk management.
