PMHNP - Lead Prescriber | Weekday Only Schedule | Benefits | Outpatient

A Medicaid-forward outpatient addiction and mental health practice launching in West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced PMHNP for the Lead Nurse Practitioner role – the primary prescriber and psychiatric anchor of the floor. This is a full‑time, on‑site W‑2 position blending psychiatric medication management, MAT (Suboxone and buprenorphine), Spravato (esketamine) under REMS, and TMS in a trauma‑informed, mission‑driven practice built around underserved and substance use populations across Palm Beach County. You’ll run the clinical day when the Medical Director is remote, work a tandem clinical day alongside them weekly on complex cases, and always have psychiatric backup for high‑acuity bipolar, trauma, and treatment‑resistant presentations. Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole is a meaningful asset here. Key Responsibilities Conduct new psychiatric evaluations, MAT follow‑ups, and ongoing medication management Provide MAT using Suboxone and buprenorphine for patients with substance use disorders Become Spravato (esketamine) REMS certified within 60 days of start (supported by practice) Work a tandem clinical day alongside Medical Director weekly on complex charts and new evaluations Manage daily visit volume ramping over time — set collaboratively with Medical Director Complete clinical notes within 48–72 hours of each encounter Partner with Medical Director on complex bipolar, trauma, and treatment‑resistant cases Lead morning huddle with MA and reception team to set daily clinical priorities Qualifications Active DEA registration (required) PMHNP certification strongly preferred | Primary care experience a plus 1–5 years of experience; comfortable with high‑acuity, underserved, and substance use populations Hospital and PHP exposure preferred over new graduate Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills a strong plus Prior exposure to Spravato or TMS a plus MSN or DNP from accredited program required Schedule & Compensation Full‑time | Five 8‑hour shifts | Monday–Friday | On‑site 401(k) | Malpractice covered Immediate hire #J-18808-Ljbffr NPHire
