Our regular work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, enabling work-life balance and the ability to focus on your professional development.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying their specific needs and recommending appropriate care plans.

• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions addressing issues related to aging, including grief, loss, life transitions, and other emotional challenges.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment strategies that enhance the emotional and mental well-being of geriatric residents.

• Provide education and support to families and staff on best practices and strategies to improve the overall quality of life for elderly individuals.

• Facilitate grief counseling sessions, aiding clients and their families in navigating end-of-life issues with sensitivity and care.

• Integrate cognitive stimulation programs into therapy sessions to help maintain mental acuity and encourage a fulfilling life for elderly clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on seniors who are experiencing various mental health challenges, including those linked to aging, such as depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders due to life transitions. You will play a crucial role in helping them cope with loss, manage chronic conditions, and adapt to changes in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license in Florida.

• At least four years of recent experience providing mental health support to geriatric clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 65,000 to USD 95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, successful candidates may be eligible for a signing bonus.
