Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Performs work of a skilled variety, demanding a high degree of manual and technical competencyAbility to troubleshoot and repair pump'sLocates and determines malfunctions using test equipmentFacilities repair, carpentry, drywall and paintPlumbingPerforms checks on safety equipmentBasic Tig and Mig welding mild steel, and stainless steelAbility to read blueprintsMove parts and frames on and off machinery and throughout the facilityMaintains equipment and facilities in a safe operating condition. Repair breakdowns as requiredMakes operating line adjustments as requestedOperate angle grinder, manual vertical band saw, and pedestal grinder. Understand and follow company GMP/Safety Standards and policiesParticipate, as required, in safety and GMP training sessions, and other company training sessionsCOMPETENCIESPipingKnowledge of domestic plumbingKnowledge of all types of valves and functions. Including automated valve actuators.BoilersUnderstanding boiler operations, chemical feed system, condensate return systems, Y strainers and steam trap functions.Air compressorKnowledge of rotary screw compressors, air dryers, oil/water separators.WastewaterBasic understanding of Ph balance and levelsHVACKnowledge of rooftop AC units, exhaust fans, automated louvers, gas heaters.Building MaintenanceGeneral construction ability. Repair drywall, light fixtures/bulbs, general bathroom repairs, painting, daily facility inspections and repairs, egress lighting, fire extinguisher inspections, storm water inspections.ToolsKnowledge and ability to use all types of hand tools and power tools.ElectricalKnowledge of low voltage (12v thru 120v) electrical circuits, breaker boxSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.All employment offers are contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
