Hotel Phoenix at Centennial Yards is an independent luxury boutique hotel dedicated to delivering authentic hospitality and creating an environment where both guests and associates feel valued and inspired. We are seeking a professional and guest-focused Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences in our hotel restaurant. This role ensures that guests receive attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service in every interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet tables with enthusiasm and a genuine smile welcoming their presence
- Adhere to established service standards and protocols
- Ring in orders timely and correctly
- Offer suggestions for beverage and food, don't "upsell" but be genuinely invested in their experience
- Check in after courses are dropped within an appropriate timeframe to ensure their satisfaction
- If a guest has a qualm, bring it to the attention of a manager immediately and evaluate how to proceed from there
- Assist bartenders in proper rotation and polishing of glassware, silverware, and other service items
- If you take the last of anything, inform a manager if it needs to be ordered, or replenish it if it is within the restaurant
- Follow proper "manners" protocol when interacting with any guest
- Strong, upbeat and positive personality
- Commitment to high standards with impeccable attention to detail
- Passion for food, beverage and hospitality
- Ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
Requirements
- Previous fine dining or hospitality service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
