Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 or 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience License: Active RN license required Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications Must-Have: Critical Care (ICU), Cardiac Care (CC), or Emergency Department (ED) experience required EPIC proficiency is required Description: Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab. The Cath Lab RN will perform minimally invasive cardiac procedures. Assignments will vary in schedule, with shifts between 7 AM and 7 PM. There will be rotating weekday, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities. Experience in Electrophysiology and other cardiovascular departments may be required. Candidates are expected to be proficient in critical emergencies and cardiac care procedures. Responsibilities include the setup and monitoring of procedures, patient assessments, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. The position requires a strong focus on patient safety and infection prevention. Candidates must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. This role may involve performing diagnostic catheterizations and interventional procedures. An understanding of the specific equipment and medical technologies used in the Cath Lab is essential. Flexibility in work schedules is necessary, particularly during peak holiday seasons. Local candidates residing within a specified distance are not eligible for this position. Candidates with any prior license or background issues will not be considered.
