Registered Nurse (RN) Neuro and Vascular IR

Position Inova Health is hiring a full‑time Invasive Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for our Fairfax Medical Campus. Schedule is 4 x 10‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday with overnight, weekend, and holiday on‑call shifts required. About the Department The Interventional Radiology department serves over 5,000 patients each year, both inpatient and outpatient, adult and pediatric populations. Our multidisciplinary team of Interventional Radiologists, Neurosurgeons, Vascular Surgeons, Nurses, and Technologists provides excellent patient care across multiple modalities including Body IR, Peripheral Vascular, Neuro Interventional, and Aortic Endovascular. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of the patient. Administration of medications, including conscious sedation and reversal agents in compliance with policy and procedures. Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in an interventional Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology Lab or equivalent years of experience as a nurse working in a critical care hospital unit. Education: BSN or, if an Associate’s Degree, RN would need to commit to completing a BSN within five years of hire. RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required at start. Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
