Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments, incorporating comprehensive physical examinations and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Assist in evaluating and diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments throughout procedures
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Strong preference for candidates with clinical rotations focusing on surgical care

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in Florida
