We strive to make our customers smile!About the RoleThe Payroll & Benefits Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of payroll and employee benefits administration across all Masterpiece Flower companies. This role ensures payroll compliance, maintains employee records and deductions, processes garnishments, administers leave / PTO programs, and serves as a primary resource for employee payroll and benefits questions. The Payroll & Benefits Specialist collaborates with Human Resources, leadership, and third-party vendors to enhance the employee experience, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote operational efficiency, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.What You'll Do!Payroll AdministrationProcess weekly, bonus, and off-cycle payrolls accurately and on timeReview and audit payroll data, timecards, deductions, and employee recordsManage garnishments, direct deposit issues, payroll reporting, and year-end payroll activitiesEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulationsSupport payroll process improvements and system efficienciesBenefits & Leave AdministrationAssist employees with benefit enrollments, life event changes, and benefit questionsMaintain accurate benefit deductions and recordsSupport annual open enrollment activities and employee communicationsAdminister employee leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, disability, and state leave programsCoordinate leave documentation, tracking, and return-to-work processesHR SupportAssist with onboarding and employee record maintenanceSupport HR projects, reporting, and employee communicationsProvide excellent internal customer service while maintaining confidentialityQualifications3–5 years of payroll and benefits administration experience requiredMulti-state payroll experience preferredExperience with Paylocity preferredKnowledge of payroll laws, benefits administration, and leave managementStrong Excel, analytical, and organizational skillsAbility to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretionExcellent communication and customer service skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPP, FPC, SHRM-CP, or PHR certificationExperience administering FMLA, ADA, and other leave programsWhy Join Us?Opportunity to play a critical role in supporting employees and business operationsCollaborative HR team environment (we are a fun group to work with; family-oriented)Meaningful work with a growing organization (plus, beautiful florals and gardenry!)Competitive pay and benefits packagePay Range: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per yearEmployment Type: Full-Time401(k)401(k) matchingEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceWork Location: In person ( Highly preferred )#J-18808-Ljbffr
