Qualifications 8–12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership or director-level role. Proven experience in a creative, production, agency, or media environment. Strong working knowledge of employment law, compensation strategy, and organizational design. Experience building HR infrastructure in a scaling or multi-location business. Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills with a collaborative, approachable style. Demonstrated commitment to DEI principles and inclusive practices. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field. Key Responsibilities Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team on people-related matters. Build and manage an HR team that supports scalable, responsive people operations. Lead full-cycle talent acquisition to attract, hire, and retain top creative and operational talent. Oversee onboarding, training, and professional development programs. Implement performance management frameworks that promote growth, clarity, and accountability. Develop and support career pathways and succession planning. Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace. Cultivate a culture of feedback, collaboration, and transparency. Design and lead employee engagement initiatives, feedback cycles, and recognition programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and employment regulations. Manage HR systems (HRIS, payroll, benefits administration). Oversee compensation strategy and administer benefit programs in partnership with Finance. Maintain and evolve employee handbook, policies, and procedures. Lead change management initiatives that foster agility and communication.
