Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

HIRING IMMEDIATELY FOR 2nd SHIFT QUALITY TECHNICIANS IN BURLINGTON, NC!!


PAY: $20-23/HR. TO START + SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL AND POTENTIAL FOR PAY RAISES!


2nd SHIFT: 1 PM - 9:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY


THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Serve as a quality technician or receiving inspector responsible for inspecting and measuring inbound/outbound materials.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined components and final assemblies to verify compliance with quality standards.
• Perform dimensional inspections, document results, support material traceability, and help maintain calibrated inspection equipment within an assembly production facility.
• Perform equipment calibrations on inspection tools including calipers, torque wrenches, pressure gauges, and related devices.
• Measure materials using calipers, micrometers, bore gages, feeler gages, and pin gages.
• Work with blueprints as necessary to verify part dimensions.
• Complete quality documentation including material traceability reports and certificates of conformity.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience using calipers, micrometers, mic threads, bore gages, feeler gages, and pin gages to measure parts.
• Need to have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with performing quality inspections of machined components and assemblies.
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Experience working in an assembly production facility or similar manufacturing environment.
