Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Location: Burlington, NC Employment Type: Direct Hire Industry: Food Manufacturing Compensation: $70k Schedule: 12pm - 9pm - 2nd shift

About the Opportunity: Responsible for supervising new installations and construction along with being responsible for maintaining grounds, facility, facility equipment, and preventive/predictive maintenance programs.

What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoots problems with the facility and facility equipment.
• Requisitions repairs or recommends replacements based on diagnosis of problems.
• Supervises and coordinates installations and/or repairs of equipment, electrical, gas, air, water, and sewer by working with outside contractors.
• Works to expedite installations and/or repairs to avoid delays in production.
• Obtains competitive quotes from reputable and quality vendors when pricing for goods and/or services.
• Assists in the training of operation of facility equipment.
• Maintains an ongoing preventative/predictive maintenance program for facility and facility equipment.
• Maintains an organized parts inventory.

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• High school diploma and GED equivalent.
• Previous manufacturing experience required.
• Two years Maintenance experience required.

What Sets You Apart:

• Food processing experience preferred.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, lifting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to work as team member and meet assigned deadlines.
• Work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow safety standards in working with multiple services, tools, and equipment.
• Perform any and all other duties as instructed by leadership and management.
• Supervise production staff as needed
