Job Description

• Tailor Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional objectives.
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Apply evidence-based interventions to support enhancements in patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Team up with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques that promote continued advancement at home.
• Track and Modify Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure patients remain on track.

Educational Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are welcome and supported

Licensure

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification necessary
