Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse position is available in an acute care hospital setting. This role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical-surgical conditions, including surgical patients following ERAS protocols, and requires proficiency in ortho and neuro surgeries. The position offers a 12-hour day shift with a commitment of at least 36 hours per week. Job Details Schedule: 12-hour days shifts, minimum 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Current BLS certification, minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical with telemetry experience, experience with surgical patient care following ERAS protocols, proficiency in ortho and neuro surgeries, valid license in hand required at submission, and ability to float within service line including Memorial Belleville and Memorial Shiloh. Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience. Additional Information: The role involves caring for medical-surgical patients with diagnoses such as diabetics, COPD, renal issues, infectious diseases, co-morbidities, vascular and bowel surgeries, extensive wounds, pneumonia, and sepsis. Special procedures include orthopedic procedures, total joint replacements, and neuro surgeries. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and unit secretaries. Open to applicants ready to start on 10/05/2026 and end on 01/04/2027. No local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted, and no RTO (Return to Office) requests are allowed after submission. The certification required for some locations is ACLS, to be obtained if not already certified prior to start.
