Maintenance Technician – Rental Property Maintenance (Akron & Canton, OH)
$[22–26]/hr based on experience • Company Truck Provided • Full-Time, Mon–Fri

Yoak Properties is hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician to help care for our growing portfolio of 600+ rental homes across the Akron and Canton areas. This is steady, year-round work with a company truck and a consistent full-time schedule — no slow seasons, no waiting on the next job.

If you're a reliable, hands-on tech who works independently and takes pride in doing the job right, we want to talk with you this week.

What We Offer

$[22–26]/hour based on experience
Company truck provided — no wear and tear on your own vehicle
Full-time, steady, year-round work (Monday–Friday, daytime hours)

What You'll Do

Day-to-day maintenance and repairs across our rental homes
Make-ready / turn work on vacant units (paint, drywall, general repairs)
Light plumbing — leaks, clogs, faucets, fixtures, toilets
Basic electrical — outlets, switches, lighting and fixtures
Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
Documenting and closing out work orders with notes and photos, on time

What You Bring

2+ years of residential or rental property maintenance experience (or a strong handyman/trades background)
Skilled across plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, and general repairs
Comfortable driving between multiple properties throughout the day
Able to work independently, manage your day, and problem-solve on the fly
Professional and courteous with tenants and teammates
Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record
