Controller — Valley Imports

Valley Imports is looking for an experienced accounting leader to take the reins of our finance function. This is a high-visibility role with direct access to leadership and real influence over how the business runs financially — not a back-office reporting seat.

What you'll lead:
You'll oversee the full accounting operation — a team handling AP, AR, and the general ledger while owning financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance with GAAP and manufacturer guidelines. You'll manage cash flow and working capital, guide annual audits, and be the go-to financial advisor for the General Manager.

Why this role:
This isn't an entry-level accounting job. It's a leadership seat with real scope: staff supervision, strategic input on revenue and expense decisions, and ownership of the numbers that drive the business. You'll work across departments, mentor a team, and have a direct line to leadership decisions.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
• 2-3+ years of management/leadership experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge and hands-on financial reporting experience
• Dealership, automotive, or similar industry accounting background preferred (floor plan financing, manufacturer reporting)
• A leadership style that builds teams, not just manages them
