Key responsibilities include driving the development and translation of complex data sets to produce information for internal and external reporting needs. As data continues to become a strategic asset and a critical component of regulatory and risk management outcomes, GRM has established the Data Strategy & Management (DSM) function to drive the transparency, quality, accessibility, sustainability, and effective use of risk data across the organization. Working in close partnership with Enterprise Data, Technology, Front Line Units (FLUs), and Control Functions (CFs), DSM is responsible for advancing GRM's data strategy, enabling sustainable data capabilities, and accelerating adoption of enterprise solutions that improve risk management, operational efficiency, and regulatory defensibility.The GRM Data Strategy, Engagement & Communications Executive will report to the GRM Data Strategy & Management Executive (DSME) and serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner, helping translate GRM's data priorities into actionable strategy, coordinated execution, and measurable business outcomes. This role provides a unique opportunity to shape and communicate GRM's data agenda, influence enterprise stakeholders, coordinate strategic priorities, and drive alignment across business, risk, technology, and data organizations.Position Summary:The GRM Data Strategy Integration & Coordination Executive serves as a strategic advisor and key partner to senior leaders across GRM Risk and Technology, helping translate GRM's data priorities into actionable strategy, execution plans, and measurable outcomes. This role is responsible for driving strategic planning, data management transformation, operating model execution, and enterprise alignment across GRM's data agenda. Working closely with senior leaders across Risk, Technology, Enterprise Data, Front Line Units (FLUs), and Control Functions (CFs), the executive will help shape strategic priorities, coordinate investments, advance data capabilities, and accelerate execution of GRM's strategic data objectives including alignment with Enterprise Data priorities. The role combines data strategy, transformation planning, data architecture assessment, execution oversight, and organizational leadership to advance GRM's data management capabilities, improve transparency, traceability, and sustainability of data assets, and accelerate adoption of strategic data solutions across the Risk organization.Strategy Development & OperationalizationPartner with senior leadership to define, refine, and operationalize GRM's data strategy and strategic priorities.Drive advancement of GRM's data management capabilities, including data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, controls, data sourcing, and lifecycle management.Support development of target-state data architecture, data operating models, and strategic data capabilities aligned with enterprise objectives.Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps, execution plans, and measurable outcomes.Support prioritization of initiatives and investments to ensure alignment with business, risk, regulatory, and technology objectives.Data Strategy Leadership & Enterprise AlignmentEstablish alignment across GRM Risk, Technology, Enterprise Data, FLUs, and CFs on strategic data priorities and capabilities.Partner with stakeholders to advance enterprise data standards, strategic platforms, shared data services, and reusable data management capabilities.Drive resolution of cross-functional challenges impacting strategic data initiatives, regulatory commitments, and transformation objectives.Facilitate executive decision-making to accelerate delivery of strategic priorities.Data Strategy Planning & Operating RoutinesEstablish and coordinate data strategy councils, leadership reviews, investment reviews, and planning processes supporting GRM's data agenda.Lead strategic planning, funding, investment management, and resource prioritization across the portfolio of data initiatives.Monitor execution against strategic commitments and provide transparency into delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes.Data Capability Adoption & EnablementDrive adoption of strategic data capabilities, standards, platforms, and operating models across GRM.Promote effective utilization of enterprise data services, authorized data sources, shared data assets, and strategic tooling to improve consistency, reuse, and scalability.Partner with business and technology organizations to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and modernize data management practices.Foster a culture of data ownership, accountability, and stewardship across GRM.Metrics, Reporting & Value RealizationDefine and oversee metrics that measure advancement of GRM's data strategy, data management maturity, strategic capabilities adoption, and transformation objectives.Monitor adoption of strategic data capabilities, improvements in data quality, operational efficiencies, and value realization.Provide executive insights and recommendations to support investment decisions, prioritization, and continuous improvement.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science / engineering, Data Science or Analytics15+ years of experience in data management, risk management, analytics, technology, or enterprise transformation within a large, regulated financial institution.Proven ability to influence senior executives and drive alignment across multiple organizations with competing priorities.Deep expertise in enterprise data strategy, data governance, data quality, metadata management, lineage, controls, and information management.Experience establishing accountability frameworks and governance structures that improve transparency, traceability, and data health.Strong understanding of risk management principles and regulatory expectations related to data governance and risk information management.Experience leading large-scale data strategy and transformation initiatives, projects or projects partnering with regulatory, audit, compliance, and control functions.Understanding of emerging technologies, data architecture, cloud-based platforms, and enterprise technology strategies.Experience identifying and delivering material cost efficiencies through standardization, automation, simplification, and technology consolidation.Preferred Qualifications:Experience supporting enterprise risk, regulatory reporting, capital management, or risk data aggregation and reporting initiatives.Working knowledge of SQL, SAS, data analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms.Experience leading enterprise-wide data modernization programs supporting large-scale business transformation.Skills:Performance ManagementProject ManagementRegulatory RelationsRisk ManagementStakeholder ManagementBusiness AcumenContinuous ImprovementIssue ManagementRisk AnalyticsTechnical DocumentationAdaptabilityAttention to DetailBusiness IntelligenceData VisualizationData and Trend AnalysisShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week: 40Pay Transparency detailsUS -
