Senior Accountant

Position: Senior Accountant Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid) Salary: $90,000-$110,000 + Profit Sharing Highlights of the Senior Accountant opportunity Step into a high-impact Senior Accountant role with a well-established professional services and consulting firm Work directly with executive leadership and gain strong visibility across the organization Own a broad range of accounting functions including close, reporting, payroll, cash management, and forecasting Join a stable, collaborative team known for strong employee tenure and long-term career growth Enjoy a hybrid schedule, profit sharing, commuter benefits, and significant autonomy in the role Senior Accountant's responsibilities Take ownership of the month-end close and financial reporting process Manage project accounting, client billing, and revenue recognition Oversee payroll, cash management, and day-to-day banking activity Prepare financial statements and support budgeting and financial forecasting Serve as a key point of contact for the external CPA firm during year-end Improve accounting processes, controls, and overall operational efficiency Senior Accountant qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience within professional services, consulting, or another project-based environment required Deltek VantagePoint experience strongly preferred Strong ability to work independently and take full ownership of key accounting functions #J-18808-Ljbffr CFS
