Biomedical Equipment Technician I

GE HealthCare seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to respond to service calls, diagnose issues, and perform repairs and maintenance on medical equipment. The role involves working under supervision, maintaining customer relationships, and adhering to regulatory standards in a remote California position.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and diagnose customer biomedical equipment issues and implement appropriate repairs
Perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections on medical devices
Maintain daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and satisfaction
Document all repair actions and submit reports according to schedule
Comply with regulatory requirements and maintain technical knowledge of current standards

Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years equipment servicing experience (alternative to degree)
Equivalent military education or completion of formal internship/externship program
Strong analytical and communication skills to explain technical issues clearly
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, with good hand dexterity and vision capabilities

Compensation: $66,560-$99,840 base annual
