Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Level 3/Level 4 NICU – Central Texas

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Austin, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 13-week contract, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), no on-call requirements

Highlights:

• 97-bed Level 3 NICU with well-established team of approximately 200 nursing professionals
• Manageable patient ratios of 3–4 patients per RN
• Modern technology including Medfusion pumps, Alaris systems, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors
• EMR systems: CPN and Meditech
• Structured day shift schedule with dedicated unit clerk support
• Seasonal contract position with no weekend or on-call obligations

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain
• Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) and BLS certifications
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Adherence to strict dress code policy: navy scrubs, no nail polish or artificial nails
