Trailer Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Correctly performs DOT & PM Inspections on trailersAll trailer preventative maintenance and repairTags all warranty parts with appropriate information to include cause of failure, mileage and removal dateResponsible for the cleanliness of work area, keeping spills, grease and debris to a minimumCompletes all repair orders in a timely manner, ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unitBasic computer skills to input vehicle information and diagnose equipmentBasic tools requiredTrailer electrical workTests equipment for proper operationsFix and repair tires, as necessaryWelding and fabrication of steel and aluminum, as necessaryKeeps work areas clean and free of clutterMust have current valid driver's licensePerforms additional duties and special projects as needed or directedQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
