Details Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting Variable shift position covering days/evenings with 8s, 10s, or 12s Call required Monday-Friday 2100-0630 and Saturday/Sunday 0630-1900 and 1900-0630 Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs Requires ability to scrub in for surgical procedures Requirements Active OH state or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required Level 1 Trauma center experience required Experience with DaVinci Xi Robot required Liver transplant experience required Experience in at least one of the following service lines required: Neuro or Ortho EPIC charting system experience required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Eye trauma/ophthalmology experience preferred ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns experience preferred 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or formal leadership role and the second acceptable from a Charge RN; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Perform circulating and scrub RN duties across a range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurology, urology, ENT, and robotic-assisted procedures Provide surgical support for transplant cases including heart, kidney, liver, and lung Requested RTO must be submitted with the contract and limited to 7 days or less Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict processing timelines Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees of any Ohio State University hospital location are ineligible to be hired as a traveler American Traveler Job ID P-748928.
