Details Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM Every other or every third weekend coverage required as needed Floating may be required On-call responsibilities include 2 shifts of call during the contract EPIC charting experience preferred Requirements Active OH RN license or compact license required and must be in hand at time of consideration BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Interventional Radiology experience required Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Skills should include circulating procedures and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures preferred Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring preferred Scrub procedures experience preferred Electrophysiology procedures experience preferred Triage skills preferred 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal leadership role and the second from a charge RN or higher; coworker references not accepted Additional Information Responsibilities include circulating procedures and managing dysrhythmias within the IR setting Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing the contract due to strict state requirements Candidates outside Ohio but within driving distance must travel to an Ohio fingerprinting location as soon as possible after booking Candidates located far from Ohio will receive a mailed fingerprinting packet requiring prompt completion RTO must be submitted with the initial contract request and built into the schedule, limited to 7 days or less Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment after being away from the facility for 6 months or more Current employees of Ohio State University hospital locations are not eligible for travel assignments First-time travelers may be considered if they have relevant IR or RPR-specific skills American Traveler Job ID P-749156.
