Family Practice - With OB Physician

TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Family Practice Associate Medical Director to provide both clinical and administrative leadership within a community-based primary care organization serving underserved patient populations throughout the Sacramento area.
Position Details
Leadership opportunity combining clinical practice and medical management responsibilities
Oversight of Family Practice clinical operations, quality initiatives, and provider performance
Collaborate closely with executive and clinical leadership teams
Responsibilities include:
Clinician mentoring, evaluation, and performance improvement
Development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and workflows
Oversight of referral management and specialty care access
Participation in quality improvement and compliance initiatives
Clinical documentation and EHR optimization
Strategic planning and operational support
Maintain an active outpatient Family Practice panel while providing medical leadership
Serve a diverse and underserved patient population in a community health setting
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday Friday
Daytime clinic hours
Clinical Responsibilities:
Comprehensive primary care services
Preventive care and wellness visits
Chronic disease management
Acute care visits
Care coordination and specialty referrals
Patient and family education
Timely review of laboratory, imaging, and consultation results
Medical record completion and quality documentation
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of recent outpatient primary care experience
Previous leadership or management experience required
FQHC experience preferred
One of the following:
MD or DO with completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency
Current Board Certification in Family Practice
Active and unrestricted California license
Ability to obtain payer credentialing
BLS certification required
ACLS and/or PALS preferred
Compensation & Benefits:
Physician (MD/DO)
Annual compensation: $230,880 $300,144
