Sample Receiving TechnicianStart Your Career in a Laboratory Environment

Join a leading food testing laboratory and help ensure samples are accurately received, tracked, and prepared for testing. This is a great opportunity for candidates with warehouse, production, logistics, food service, or manufacturing experience who are interested in moving into a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming samples and packages
• Verify sample information and documentation for accuracy
• Scan and track samples using a laboratory database
• Sort and route samples to the appropriate departments
• Label samples and maintain accurate records
• Identify and communicate sample discrepancies
• Follow established procedures while maintaining quality and productivity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, food service, or a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for most of the shift
• Reliable and able to work independently

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
