PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Our focus on patient and employee safety is paramount, ensuring superior care for our patients while promoting a safe work environment. Responsibilities Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the Physical Therapist. Assist in therapeutic interventions such as posture training, strengthening exercises, endurance training, and balance exercises. Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, and assistive devices. Monitor patient responses and intervene as necessary, ensuring safe and effective use of equipment. Document patient progress and provide education to patients and families. Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, staff, and other healthcare disciplines. Adhere to safety, infection control, and clinic policies at all times. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School. CAPTE Certified. 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience. CPR Certification. Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Schedule This is a 5x8.0 schedule with guaranteed hours.
