Your responsibilities as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Acute Care include:

• Preparing equipment for treatment and assisting an Occupational Therapist with rehabilitative activities for patients
• Establishing strong relationships with each patient so that they have the ability to exceed their functional goals
• Demonstrating a positive connection with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members
• Building and maintaining relationships throughout the community

Qualifications include:

• Graduate of an ACOTE approved occupational therapist assistant program
• State licensure
• Basic Life Support Certification via the American Heart Association
