Riverside Medical Group is currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Heart Failure to join our highly respected team at Riverside Cardiology Specialists in Newport News, Virginia.

In this role, you will work closely with our Heart Failure Clinic, supported by a hospital CHF navigator, experienced cardiologists, and a collaborative care team.

As a Non-Invasive Cardiologist, your focus will be on diagnosing and managing heart conditions using advanced imaging and testingwithout performing surgical procedures. You will play a critical role in:

  • Evaluating and treating heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease
  • Interpreting diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms, cardiac MRI, and stress tests
  • Prescribing medications and developing long-term care plans
  • Coordinating care with interventional cardiologists and other specialists
  • Educating patients on lifestyle modifications and preventive strategies

Providing Cardiology Services to Include:

  • Cardiac MRI
  • SPECT Myocardial Perfusion Imaging & Stress Testing
  • Echocardiography
  • Holter Monitoring

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Virginia
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (American Board of Internal Medicine)
  • Valid DEA registration
