Maksteel USA is looking for to fill a Packaging position in our Wyoming, Michigan location. We are looking for a detail-oriented candidate that is eager to learn and grow in this fast-paced environment. We strive to build strong relationships with our customers by providing high level of service, value-add opportunities, and professionalism in all interactions, allowing us to become a valued member of their supply chain and production teams.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Operate Banding Head for slit coils
Ensure secure/proper packaging
Use equipment safely and efficiently
Forklift operations
Clean scrap from aisle way

Position Requirements:

Knowledge of steel banding and shop experience preferred
High School diploma or GED equivalent
General reading and computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, ERP, etc.)
Experience in steel warehousing and with defects common to steel
Ability to read and use a measuring tape
Good organizational skills
