RN - Clinical Decision Unit

The Clinical Decision Nurse coordinates, plans, directs, and implements the nursing process in the delivery of patient care in the medical-surgical setting. This position processes a high volume of admissions. This position is not in the Emergency Room. Team players who are willing to help and are pleasant and caring towards patient outcomes are encouraged to apply. Typical patient ratios are 1:4-6. Experience with electronic medical record systems is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to work alternating weekends and at least one of the major winter holidays. Requested time off of up to 5 days in each 13-week cycle can be automatically approved. Requests for additional time off will be subject to approval. The facility is a certified Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center. It has received multiple certifications and awards for patient care and safety. Candidates are expected to align with the hospital's commitment to high-quality care.
