Cardiac SonographerA Registered Cardiac Sonographer who is responsible for performing echocardiograms, transthoracic echos and stress tests. Demonstrates competence as a Cardiac Sonographer. Registered as RDCS or RCS. Must strive to continue the educational process to maintain current practices. Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification. Good verbal/written skills.Working Conditions: Generally comfortable surroundings. Extensive walking and standing. Variable work hours expected (4-12 shifts). Exposure to infectious diseases. Exposure to radiation. Moderate noise. Exposure to air borne particles. Exposure to caustic chemicals. Risk of electrical shock.
