Job Title

Our plain language glossary and do not use list, in collaboration with Corporate Editor, is the central truth for language standards across all communications channels.

Identify, research, recommend and publish language standards based on three broad priorities.

Supporting new product/solutions launches.

Voice of the customer and call drivers.

Areas of clutter and jargon that create member experience confusion.

Work across business silos, and closely with the research, digital and communications teams.

Role is more of support, editing and review to check for compliance with published standards.

Required Experience:

Excellent language, terms, and definitions skills related to technical writing skills

Digital web editing and copy writing related to information hierarchies, navigation and user interactions

Business and communications consulting and facilitation across multiple business silos

Minimum of 5 years' experience

Mastery of MS Office

Experience with SharePoint programming

Experience with Grammarly and similar writing/editing tools

Consulting and facilitation skills, ability to work across business silos

Experience in conducting user research (e.g., usability, card sorting, member panel testing)

Masters in Information Design, Communications, or related.
