Manager, UX Research Operations

Position Overview The UX Research Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring research processes run smoothly and efficiently, enabling the User Experience Research Team to advance the i-Ready platform. Responsibilities Manage end-to-end recruitment of educators and students for research studies, including usability testing, 1:1 interviews, focus groups, surveys, co-design, pilots and betas. Own relationships and logistics management with site and vendor partners. Continuously evaluate research‑management tools and processes to ensure efficiency, high quality and scalability, and propose improvements. Collaborate on outreach for locating new in‑person testing partner sites. Develop and maintain participant databases, templates, screeners and scheduling procedures. Own onsite and remote study logistics. Qualifications 3–5 years of relevant experience in research operations. Self‑starter who can take an assignment and run with it, expanding or shaping it when appropriate. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Comfortable speaking up with questions and ideas. Curiosity about the “why” behind problems and the ability to think through systems. Adroit with project‑management skills and working with databases or spreadsheets. Experience securely managing personally identifiable information or other data subject to regulatory considerations. Preferred: Experience with K‑12 education. Preferred: History of managing cross‑time‑zone collaboration across nationally distributed teams. Pay Range $69,250–$118,250, with base pay dependent on experience and skills.
