Step into an exciting contract opportunity where your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist can truly make a difference for students. Full-time positions are available for the upcoming academic year, supporting school communities in the Lewisville and The Colony areas. This onsite role provides the rewarding chance to collaborate alongside dedicated educators, fostering student growth and development.
The district is currently seeking 2-3 enthusiastic and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists for the 2026-2027 school year. Grade levels and caseloads will be assigned according to student needs, offering a dynamic and impactful experience in a supportive educational environment. Qualified candidates must hold an active Texas SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current, valid Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Solid background in school-based speech-language services
- Adaptability to work with varying caseloads across multiple grade levels
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and continued professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings
- Develop and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Provide direct therapy to a diverse student population
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with district requirements
- Consult and communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and staff
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and school initiatives
