Patient Services Manager 2

Sodexo is seeking a Patient Food Service Manager at SSM Health St Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO. This strategic food service leader will direct and manage the afternoon and evening patient feeding operations at the medical center. This food service manager will lead, mentor and develop a team of frontline staff and supervisors and will work closely with nurses and patients to ensure we are meeting and exceeding expectations. You’ll oversee mailroom services alongside patient dining operations, ensuring efficient workflows, regulatory compliance, and a consistently positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors. Accountable for managing people, setting direction and deploying resources; typically is responsible for performance evaluation, pay reviews and hire/fire decisions. Results are primarily achieved through the work of others and typically depend on the manager's ability to influence and negotiate with parts of the organization. Progression within Career Band reflects acquisition of broad technical expertise, business and industry knowledge, and process and people leadership capabilities. Accountable for business, functional or operational areas, processes or programs, which may include dotted-line or matrixed management. What you’ll bring Experience guiding frontline teams within service‑driven operations such as mailroom, dining, or healthcare support services. Knowledge of patient dining workflows, food safety, sanitation, and clinical nutrition standards. Background in staff scheduling, onboarding, and day‑to‑day operational coordination. Commitment to service excellence through patient engagement, rounding, and quality monitoring. Organizational skills that support workflow management, performance standards, and continuous improvement.
