Join our growing and reorganizing medical practice! El Nunu Medical, P.C. is seeking a caring and detail-oriented Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to become an integral part of our team. We are a patient-centered practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care — and we’re looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional who shares that dedication.

Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and manage front desk operations with a friendly, professional attitude.

Schedule, confirm, and follow up on patient appointments.

Reach out to patients to schedule follow-ups, review lab results, and coordinate provider visits.

Review and organize emails and forms for providers; ensure timely completion and communication.

Check insurance eligibility and verify patient benefits prior to visits.

Process referrals and submit prior authorizations for tests, procedures, and medications.

Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records within the EMR system.

Support the overall workflow of the office and assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.

Knowledge of insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization processes.

Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
