Your Responsibilities

• Implementing thorough patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and tailoring personalized care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in partnership with physician colleagues or autonomously based on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families about prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within your scope of expertise
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic conditions

• Accurately documenting all care activities in electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Background

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) required
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications Required

• Current Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capabilities to secure within 90 days)
