Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Valid state licensure in radiologic technology
• Proven experience as a Radiology Tech and X-ray Technologist in a healthcare facility
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and infection control standards
• Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate diagnostic x-ray and radiologic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols
• Ensure strict adherence to patient privacy and safety regulations
• Prepare and position patients for radiographic examinations, explaining procedures and providing support as needed
• Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions promptly
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient records in electronic health systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment
