General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager for a client company based in the St. Lucie County Florida area. This role oversees all major functions — operations, production, quality, sales support, and people leadership — ensuring the facility delivers strong performance across safety, efficiency, culture, and financial results. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on, roll up your sleeves and get dirty, operationally minded leader with a track record of building high‑performing teams, improving processes, and driving measurable outcomes. This individual will partner with senior leadership to execute strategic priorities, enhance productivity, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The facility is an indoor/outdoor environment rather than a controlled manufacturing setting. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead day‑to‑day plant operations with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency Drive operational improvements using Lean, 5S, and data‑driven decision‑making Develop and mentor team members to support performance, engagement, and retention Manage financial performance, including revenue, cost control, and profitability Strengthen cross‑functional alignment and ensure clear communication of goals and expectations Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 10+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing, construction, engineering, or related environments Proven success leading teams in fast‑paced, multi‑project operations Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L‑related responsibilities Demonstrated expertise in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to engage employees at all levels Excellent communication, coaching, and team‑building skills Lean Focus LLC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
